I got a speedometer for my bike, and the man behind the counter was happy to monter it, because he had a new tool he wanted to try out. To chips are placed on the front wheel, one on a rib, and another one on the fork, and between them radio signals are sent, and then transported by a wire to the speedometer.

He then attached the speedometer on a calibrater (see inserted picture), punched in data (the size of the wheel) and woala, it measures just as it is supposed to. If you do it manually, there is several registrations needed to get it right - acording to the manual.

So - cool tool!
